About Me
After receiving my BFA in ceramics and metals from Montana State University, I set up shop in my hometown of Missoula, Montana. Currently working out of my garage, I spend my days pushing the boundaries of ceramics through form, functionality, and materiality.
Humans are intriguing: a species on the hunt for purpose and passion in a convoluted world of their creation. To no fault of their own, many people have lost access to curiosity, leading toward the dismissal of creativity, and an emphasis on “living correctly.” My work aims to resurrect a sense of wonder, bringing attention to what it means to be human. By creating unique ware in a world where peoples’ perspectives are as manufactured as cheap mugs, I encourage people to slow down and investigate their views on the world and their role in it.
Together we can develop a world where unrestricted compassion is founded on what makes us all human, curiosity.
